Improve treatments and vaccines for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases

CellChorus characterizes the movement and behavior of a variety of cell types involved in the immune response to COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. We evaluate thousands of cells in parallel to provide dynamic visualization of cellular interactions at scale. Improve the development and manufacturing of vaccines and therapies for infectious diseases with CellChorus.

Example: T cells trained to recognize COVID

The video below shows one well (out of ~5000) from a CellChorus array featuring an antigen-specific T cell exhibiting repeat killing against COVID target cells with detection of IFNγ secretion.

The T cell has specificity for KLPDDFTGCV, a peptide that corresponds to the Spike protein (position 424-433) of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is shown exhibiting serial killing of cells expressing the spike protein.

Applying the TIMING platform to demonstrate the importance of T cell immunity in SARS-CoV-2

By simultaneously evaluating thousands of individual interactions between T cells and target cells bearing virally derived peptides, the company’s artificial intelligence-powered TIMING™ platform reveals individual T cells that are capable of polyfunctionality based on killing, serial killing, and secretion of the cytokine interferon gamma (IFNγ).
